Circling The Drain

The Book of Judges is very much a book for today—Canaan had become a mixture of believing and pagan people. Everyday, God’s people wrestled with following the culture and its ways, or following the Lord and His ways. Mostly they failed, and spiraled down, never understanding the enemy was not without, but within. May God use our time in this Book to remember He is in charge, no matter what, and that those who do follow Him and love Him, are like “the rising of the sun in its strength” (Judges 5:31b)
