New Women's Bibles Studies (via Zoom)
Each week a study sheet will be emailed to participants and then on Tuesday evenings, each group will gather online using the Zoom app to discuss the lesson. You will need access to the internet on some sort of device to participate.
Each study is limited to 15 participants on a first come, first served basis. Be sure that you can commit to the Tuesday evening time slot for all four weeks before you sign up.
Because of the limited class size, these studies will run during the month of May and then repeat in June so that more women can participate.
You must sign up to participate. To do so, send an email to the church office at email@example.com and tell us which group you wish to be in.
The studies are as follows:
- Do Not Be Surprised
When someone tells you, "Don't be surprised", what they're really telling you is that there is a "new normal" that you probably need to know about!
In this four-week study we will look at four New Testament verses that tell us not to be surprised, considering four "new normal" situations in the New Testament church, and learn how we too can become wiser and less surprised disciples of Jesus!
Joy Wilpstra will lead this group.
- The Book of Ruth—Difficult Circumstances, Kindness and Redemption
We will explore the four chapters of Ruth over four weeks. This is a great narrative with key themes including God’s sovereignty, wisdom and providence, virtue, and the history of salvation. There’s lots to unpack together in this short book.
Beth Ann Wiersma will lead this group.
The James 2 study with Pat Freeman will be offered once we can meet in person again.
