Tuesday Evening: David – God’s Chosen (1 Samuel 25 – 2 Samuel 8)

This study continues our look at the life of David, the man after God’s own heart.

We’ll witness the LORD transforming David from a self-reliant fugitive seeking refuge in Goliath’s hometown (!) to one who inquires of, trusts in, and submits to his God – and we’ll witness the blessing that this transformed king brings to his people. This section of the book of Samuel will make your heart yearn for such a king—and rejoice in the greater Son of David who reigns and rules His people rightly.
